CHURCH SECURITY TRAINING OFFER
In light of recent tragedies in our houses of worship, I would like to offer some of the things the Lord has allowed me to learn in over 40 years of law enforcement, police training, and authoring literary works concerning how to protect people and their property.
I am about to publish what will be my third book titled “Not in OUR House”, which deals with ways to defeat workplace violence. The topics are relevant to businesses, government offices, schools, and churches.
Forming a Security Committee
Implementing Security Policy and Procedures
Performing a Risk Analysis
Conducting Threat Analysis
Responding to the Threat of an Active Shooter
Dealing with Domestic Abuse
Orders of Protection
Verbally Defusing Confrontation
If your congregation would be interested in information addressing these issues, email me at ”firstname.lastname@example.org”. Give me your congregational email and I will forward information to you. If you are in western Tennessee and would like for us to have a training session, let me know.
Of course there is no charge for any of this information or assistance, we are merely trying to provide a public service.
The author, Jim Leach, formerly served as Director of Criminal Investigations for the Tennessee Highway Patrol. His first book, “You Can Tell ME, a simple guide to effective interviewing”, can be found at Amazon.com
